GENERAL HEALTH
Parents are the best judges of their children's health the child and we trust that you will not bring a sick child to the center: however, if, in opinion of Cheer-n-Grow Learning Academy teaching staff, your child is sick, we will call you to come to pick up your child.
If your child has been exposed to a contagious disease, it must be reported to the day care center by the parent as soon as possible so that the other parents may be notified. When we become aware letter will be posted on the Teacher-Parents Communication Board.
In the event of serious illness or injury parents will be contacted immediately.

Upon enrollment, your child will be placed in a group based upon his or her developmental stage. Our Daycare accepts children of different ages based upon the facility's availability and licensing requirements.

Each child's advancement to the next group is based upon chronological age, developmental readiness and available space. Children transitioning between groups spend a portion of each day in the room before making the "big move".

We practice fire drills at school on a regular basis, as well the children are taught to listen to the teacher's directions. We keep records in case of
emergency or need for contact on the premises which includes yourself and family members or trusted friends that you wish to incorporate if you
are not readily available. We also have stored first-aid supplies and our teachers have first-aid and CPR training.

All parents should make certain that their children are immunized according to the schedule recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics.
If your child's immunizations and physical are not completed, your child may not attend the Daycare center until they have met these requirements.
